Overview
OSM Concrete was engaged on a consult and construct basis to deliver a comprehensive concrete construction package for the Bajolek Residence in Maudsland. Set on a beautifully developed rural property, the project involved the construction of a large-scale reinforced concrete driveway, house surrounds, perimeter concrete edging and vehicle access infrastructure designed to complement the scale and presentation of the newly built residence.
The works included more than 700m² of reinforced concrete construction across multiple areas of the property, requiring significant site preparation, regrading and coordination to achieve the desired finish and functionality. A key objective was transforming the approach to the home, creating a premium arrival experience that reflected the quality of the residence and surrounding landscape.
Delivered within approximately one week despite challenging weather conditions, the completed project provides durable, low-maintenance infrastructure while significantly enhancing the property’s appearance, accessibility and long-term value.

Project Challenges
The project was delivered during a period of uncertain weather conditions, requiring careful planning around rainfall events to maintain access and programme certainty.
A significant challenge was the scale of the works combined with the requirement for rapid delivery. The project included approximately 638m² of reinforced driveway construction, with one major concrete placement involving approximately 73m³ of concrete in a single pour.
Careful coordination was required to manage excavation, site preparation, reinforcement, concrete supply, finishing operations and concurrent blockwork activities while maintaining a premium standard of workmanship throughout the project. Rear access limitations and wet site conditions further increased the complexity of the delivery programme.
Construction & Delivery
OSM Concrete mobilised multiple crews and resources to deliver the project within a highly compressed timeframe. Excavation and site preparation were completed over two days, followed by major concrete placement operations and concurrent blockwork construction activities.
The project required detailed planning and coordination across excavation, reinforcement, formwork, concrete supply and finishing teams. By allocating multiple crews to critical construction stages, OSM was able to maintain programme momentum while delivering an exceptional standard of finish.
Despite weather challenges and the scale of the works, the entire project was completed in approximately one week, demonstrating OSM Concrete’s ability to efficiently manage large residential concrete projects without compromising quality or client experience.
